What is PECB?
PECB (Professional Evaluation and Certification Board) is a globally recognized certification body specializing in management systems standards. PECB certifications are accepted worldwide and validate expertise in ISO standards including ISO 42001 and ISO 27701.
What is the difference between Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor?
A Lead Implementer is trained to design, build, and manage a management system (AIMS or PIMS) within an organization. A Lead Auditor is trained to audit and evaluate management systems against the standard. Organizations typically need Lead Implementers to build; Lead Auditors to verify.
Do I need domain knowledge before taking a PECB certification?
GRID42 pairs your preparation with Scaffold diagnostics — so you train against your actual knowledge gaps rather than a generic curriculum. No prior ISO certification is required, though ISO 27001 familiarity is recommended for the ISO 27701 track.
